When given the task of coming up with a call-for-entry print ad for CIMB Bank’s regional scholarship programme, I was bent on writing an inspiring piece for them.

But the tougher task laid with the stylist, art director and photographer who had to ensure that the model’s hair and dress floated gracefully underwater, while our resilient model gasps periodically for air.

Well, at least our efforts didn’t go unnoticed, as we returned to shore with the Reader’s Choice at the SPH Ink Awards that year.
